Presented by the SEAOCC Continuing Education Committee:

Wind Design for the California Engineer

Wind design is often overlooked as it does not always control the design of a building or components in California.  This seminar is specifically focused on relevant wind design issues for the California engineer.  It will focus on the various methods of generating wind loads, including advantages and disadvantages of each method.  It will also provide guidance on components that are wind-controlled, including rooftop screenwalls, rooftop equipment, attached canopies, tall parapets, balcony handrails, and open/ partially enclosed buildings.
