Scott Darling Bio:

Scott Darling joined Dynamic Isolation Systems Inc. (DIS) as a Senior Engineer in late 2020. Scott has extensive experience in earthquake engineering and high-performance seismic systems. He previously worked at Simpson Gumpertz and Heger Inc and at Cannon as a structural engineer. He completed his Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Civil engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He developed his interest in high performance seismic systems during his Masters thesis research where he investigated a novel steel framing system with self-centering capabilities and external energy dissipation
