Join SEAOCC for a Post-Disaster Safety Assessment Evaluator Program (SAP) Training on Friday, October 9, at Lionakis in downtown Sacramento. The session will be led by Matt Melcher, S.E. and Hussain Bhatia, Ph.D., S.E.

The Cal OES Safety Assessment Program trains engineers, architects, and certified building inspectors to assist local jurisdictions in evaluating buildings and lifelines after a disaster. Licensed professionals who complete the training will receive a Disaster Service Worker (DSW) ID card from Cal OES; unlicensed attendees can contact Cal OES and upon licensure, have their status updated to “Evaluator.”
